Java Developer (Spring & SQL) Associate Software Engineering Profile Description We're seeking someone to join our team as Associate for The Reliability & Production Engineering (RPE) organization in Morgan Stanley's Technology division is looking to hire a Java Developer. Institutional Securities_ Technology Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST's 'clients' include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets. Reliability & Production Engineering (RPE) Resiliency Engineering is a production-oriented discipline focused on improving service availability, latency, scalability, performance, and efficiency for technology products in Morgan Stanley. What you'll do in the role: * Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications using Spring Boot. • * Build and consume RESTful APIs for various application modules. * Write optimized SQL queries, procedures, and triggers for high-performance applications. * Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to integrate features and services. * Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies. • Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes in a timely manner. • Ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices through unit testing and documentation. * Continuously research and apply new technologies and best practices.
