Java Developer - Associate - Software Engineering

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Developer with min 2 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Core Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL and be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend applications. > Propose platform level ADR's for major Architecture components > Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java (Core Java, Java 11+), Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL. > Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices. > Optimize database queries and ensure efficient data retrieval from PostgreSQL. > Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices. > Work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement application features. > Ensure security, performance, and scalability of applications. > Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to improve system quality. > Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure reliability and stability. > Contribute to technical documentation and system design discussions. > Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development. > Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 11+), OOPs concepts. > Expertise in Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem (Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.). > Experience working with PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries, performance tuning, and indexing. > Expertise of Microservices architecture and experience with API development. > Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services is a plus. > Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito), Automation frameworks like BDD(Cucumber) and logging frameworks (SLF4J, Logback). > Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an Agile environment. > Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
