Internal / External Communications, Associate - Corporate Communications

Create corporate communications content, including press releases, talking points, internal memos and articles in both English and Japanese Review internal- and external-facing materials (e.g. emails, corporate brochures, annual reports, client letters) to ensure consistency with Firm guidelines Assist with and manage day-to-day media requests and support media relations initiatives Monitor and analyze press coverage and create a daily press clips summary Support internal communications initiatives to engage employees, including drafting and editing internal stories and managing in-house events Work in collaboration with the Firmwide Marketing team and stakeholders on the Firm's marketing/branding-related content Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English University graduate with a minimum of five-years work experience Experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, investor relations, writing or other relevant disciplines preferred Banking/financial services sector experience an advantage Strong competency in writing and editing in both Japanese and English Strong project planning and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities to meet deadlines Proactive self-starter, collaborative and flexible team player Creative, with a passion for building a positive and engaged company culture Mature, and capable of maintaining confidentiality Ability to build strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders Strong research skills with attention to detail Our commitment to Japan Since opening a representative office in Tokyo in 1970, we have been one of the largest and most active foreign financial firms in Japan providing investment banking, sales & trading, real estate, and investment management services.
