Responsibilities:

Institutional investors Sales

Investment Advisory Sales (Pension Sales)

Financial Institution Sales

• Contribute long-term/short-term business development strategy for Pension/Financial Institution business

• Promotion and servicing to institutional clients

• Coordinate global colleagues mainly portfolio managers in terms of client marketing.

• Collaborate with relevant departments like investment, marketing, operations, product development, legal & compliance etc.

Personality and Skills:

• Knowledge about Pension/Financial institution industry and investment product

• Motivation and capability for developing new clients/business

  • Experience in Alternative investment strategies promotion, additionally to traditional equity/fixed income/multi-asset classes is a plus
  • Experience in institutional distribution (i.e. to corporate pension funds, regional banks, agricultural cooperatives, shinkin banks, etc, partnering with trust banks, Japanese asset managers and securities companies) is also a plus

• Native Japanese and fluent English ability

• Team worker and credible communicator

• Strong will to add value

• Motivated to build trust relationship with global colleagues

Reporting into the head of Investment Advisory Sales/ Financial Institution Sales for MSIM Japan

Typical Qualifying Background:

• Experience in Asset Management or Investment Bank.

• Experience as sales and/or product specialist covering pension/financial institutional clients in particular
