We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Insider Risk Analyst to join our Insider Triage function to support the development and enhancement of internal threat detection and response capabilities.

This role involves close collaboration with incident response teams, technical stakeholders, and process owners to ensure effective onboarding, utilisation, and continuous improvement of internal monitoring tools and escalation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform triage of events generated by firm monitoring and help advise on next steps as well as help establish new escalation paths where appropriate.
  • Analyse the performance of existing monitoring analytics to help define improvements as well as help on-board new analytics to expand monitoring coverage.
  • Deliver targeted training sessions to selected incident response analysts on the use of new monitoring tools. Ensure procedural documentation is updated to reflect new capabilities and workflows.
  • Collaborate with analysts to capture feedback and prioritise enhancements to monitoring tools. Coordinate with platform teams to ensure updates are aligned with operational needs and feed into the broader development roadmap.
  • Establish and iterate a repeatable process for insider threat triage, ensuring scalability and adaptability to evolving threat landscapes.
  • Work with analysts to design and implement alternative escalation paths for atypical or emerging threat scenarios, including alerts from proactive threat hunting or novel detection mechanisms.


Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in insider threat detection, incident response, or security operations.
  • Strong understanding of threat analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to translate technical feedback into actionable improvements.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and operational teams.
