IED, Equity Trading, Saudi - Vice President
The Institutional Equity Division (IED) is a global leader in the origination, distribution and trading of equity, equity-linked and equity-derivative securities. The Firm's equity Sales & Trading operations provide liquidity, distribute content, and create product solutions to help our clients generate alpha.
Morgan Stanley is looking to recruit a Cash Equity Trader to join the team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

What will you be doing?
- Execute trades in cash equity securities on both an agency and principal basis, delivering superior execution and tailored solutions for Morgan Stanley's institutional clients
- Provide timely and insightful trading commentary and updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with trading, distribution, and capital markets teams
- Analyse market trends, themes, macroeconomic events, and news flow
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of MENA market structures, landscapes, and Morgan Stanley's electronic trading platforms and capabilities
- Ensure strict compliance with relevant regulations and Morgan Stanley's internal policies and procedures
What we're looking for:
- Must be a Saudi National
- Masters/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and excellent academics
- Knowledge of the Saudi equity markets. MENA or International markets experience would be a plus
- Knowledge of equity trading and market issues
- Demonstrable experience of the mechanics of cash equity products
- The successful candidate should be hardworking, diligent, creative, resourceful, and willing to go above and beyond, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong numerical skills is highly desired
- Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment
- Strong knowledge of the buy side landscape; Interest to expand the existing client relationships
- Understanding of how to grow the business in each channel
