We're seeking someone to join our team as a Global Sustainability Office (GSO) Marketing & Communications Analyst to play a key role to shaping and amplifying GSO's voice, internally and externally, through the development of compelling content, identifying impactful partnerships and by supporting the execution of engaging events.

Morgan Stanley's Global Sustainability Office (GSO) aims to drive the growth of sustainable investing through ongoing development of products and solutions, economic analysis, thought leadership, support for early-stage companies and organizations and capacity building initiatives. GSO consists of four teams, Global Sustainable Finance (GSF), Firmwide Sustainability, the Institute for Sustainable Investing (ISI) and Inclusive & Sustainable Ventures (MSISV), reporting to the firm's Chief Sustainability Officer.

What you'll do in the role:

- Support the drafting, designing and copyediting of high-quality content for various channels, including web, social media, newsletters and marketing collateral.

- Manage operational tasks including vendor onboarding and invoice processing.

- Support the execution of global sponsorships and partnerships that increase visibility and impact.

- Create quarterly performance reports with actionable insights on content engagement that track KPIs.

- Manage compliance review and approval process for content as needed.

- Coordinate logistics for events including webinars, roundtables and conferences, and produce post-event summaries.

- Possess attention to detail and sound judgment.

What you'll bring to the role:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Finance, Economics, Sustainability or a related field.

- Experience developing creative communications, planning events and/or implementing a content strategy.

- Be detail-oriented with excellent business writing, communications and presentation skills.

- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities with strong organizational and time management skills.

- A self-starter with persistence, tenacity and a drive for results.

- Can thrive in a team-based environment with multiple stakeholders.

- Familiarity with sustainable finance, corporate sustainability, venture capital and an understanding of related trends is a plus.

- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Stensul, BlastMail, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) is a plus.

- Experience with design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Premiere Pro) is highly desirable.

- At least 0-2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
