We're seeking someone to join our team as a FX Trade Support Associate in ISG Fixed Income Operations to support APAC FX Sales and Trading desks part of the Fixed Income Derivative (FID) department. This position is based in the Hong Kong office. Our client base is comprised of Trading and Sales who support Corporate, Hedge Fund, Central Bank and Asset Management businesses in addition to trades transacted on behalf of Prime Brokerage clients and other business units including Equities, Private Wealth Management, Commodities and Interest Rates.In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.This is an Associate position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, continuously evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do: * Responsible for monitoring and mitigating the firm's risk throughout the FX trade flow, front to back. This involves working with Sales and Trading on trade booking, allocations, give-ups and amendments. * The position requires a lot of interaction with the FX Desk, so the ability to communicate with confidence and accuracy is essential. The position will also involve the review and resolution of exceptions and discrepancies across internal systems and with external counterparties. * Attention to detail, and timely completion of tasks will play an integral role in ensuring the team executes on its responsibility to mitigation risk and deliver client excellence.What you'll bring: * The ideal candidate will possess Foreign Exchange experience and will possess technical skills required to partner with Operations, Technology and FX Sales and Trading. * Bachelor's degree required * Preferred candidate with Foreign Exchange product knowledge; Deliverable and Non-Deliverable Spot, Forwards, Options, Vanilla and Exotic Trades * Previous Middle Office / Trading Assistant experience * Experience with risk management of Trader positions * Superior Client Service skill set * Meticulous attention to detail * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to drive automation and improvement initiatives * Ability to function at a high level in both a team environment, as well as on individual functions * Ability to work under pressure in a time sensitive and deadline driven environment * Relationship Management skills * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications * Self-Starter with excellent time management and problem solving skills * In Depth knowledge of Foreign Exchange Cash products * In Depth knowledge of Foreign Exchange Option/Exotic products * External vendor system knowledge (Harmony, Netlink, CAS, Bloomberg, Reuters, FX Connect) * At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this roleWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
