We're seeking someone to join our team as (Associate) Fullstack Developer who is strong back-end engineer with knowledge of front-end frameworks and technologies to help us build a scalable, reliable, secure, and resilient enterprise platform on a global scale.

Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

MS At Work Technology is part of WMIMT delivers solutions and services primarily supporting Corporate business comprising of Corporate Stock Plans, Executive Financial Services, 10B5-1 Plans, Retirement solution. This is Associate position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you'll do in the role:
Distributed Systems Design and Building Knowledge
Java Backend
Java 11 and above experience
Spring, Spring Boot Services
Restful Services & API design
Tomcat or equivalent App server experience
Knowledge of Microservice Architecture and Working experience
Knowledge of Event driven architecture
Kafka/RabbitMQ
Caching Solutions e.g., Redis
Java Mutithreading
Hibernate
Oracle or equivalent RDBMS Database knowledge
Dev & DevOps Tools Gradle, IntelliJ IDEA, JRebel, Splunk, VS Code, Atlassian Suite of Products, Jenkins, SonarQube
Knowledge of UI technologies and frameworks e.g. JavaScript, TypeScript, React, GWT, DOJO, jQuery, Spring
What you'll bring to the role:
At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
Help transforming the platform and make it scalable, modular & resilient
Design, implement, and test new functionality
Be a part of a small team, consisting of 3 developers, a QA specialist and shared resources like PMs and a Manager
Be customer focused - learn about the business and help bring value to our customers
Follow Agile development methodologies
Work closely with QA - we find and fix our own bugs
Use your experience to help the whole team get better
Full stack development experience
A hunger for solving problems
Formal education in Software Development is appreciated, but not necessary with the right background
