Financial Planning & Analysis, Lead (Hybrid)

Produce and deliver monthly and quarterly Financial Control and Management reports for various Wealth Management Operations sub-departments. Analyze and understand the drivers of variances between monthly and year-to-date actuals versus budget and forecasts. Provide advice to internal clients on the implications of spend profile, business trends, issues and firm strategy. Understand the implications of and actively participate in the budgeting and forecasting process. Maintain and further develop of existing reporting portfolio, provide support to senior management team on an ad-hoc basis. Manage the hiring pipeline to ensure adherence to budget and firm commitments. Manage the new and existing vendor engagement process with an eye towards ensuring expense discipline. Liaise with multiple departments (Operations, Finance, HR, Corporate Services) to resolve issues. Analyze and automate reporting and planning processes and identify and implement improvements. Work collaboratively with global counterparts, present organization-specific financial analysis to outside stakeholders. Develop and mentor junior resources on the team. Bachelor's degree in a Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology-related field is preferred with 10+ years of experience in financial services Banking Operations, Finance, Accounting or Project management. Understanding of basic accounting concepts. Understanding of differing expense types and their variability, seasonality, and influenceability.
