The Office of COO (OCOO) is a key team in the EMEA Investment Management division, driving strategic and regulatory project change management. Additionally the team supports the Firm and IM management through preparing and presenting to Firm-level Committees and Board meetings. The team is also responsible for budget and expense management as well as working with the Corporate services teams to manage the EMEA office locations.The Office of COO has an open position for a Chief Administrative Officer at an Executive Director level based in London. The position will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer for MSIM EMEA and will lead a team that is at the centre of shaping Investment Management division through a broad spectrum of strategic and regulatory initiatives that are critical priorities for EMEA.What you'll do in the role * Lead a team of Project managers to deliver Regulatory and Strategic initiatives for MSIM EMEA. * Oversee the running of various MSIM EMEA committees, including acting as Chair. * Oversee the teams preparation and delivery of committee , Board and governance forum materials. * Liaise with Firm Management on various governance forums, including HR and Corporate services. * Oversight of office management for OCOO. * Budget preparation and management for OCOO. * Co-ordinate and manage communications with wider MSIM COO's on business updates.What you'll bring to the role * Strong track record in a senior leadership role in Programme Management oversight. * Strong and effective verbal & written communication skills with a proven track record in presenting to C-suite and Board level. * Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills including ability to engage and influence others across the organisation. * Proven track record that demonstrates creative problem-solving skills. * Financial services experience is essential, ideally in Investment management. * Experience planning and overseeing budget management.Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) is one of the largest global asset management organizations of any full-service securities firm, with more than 40 years of history, a presence in 24 countries, and a total of $1.6 trillion in assets under management as of March 31, 2025.
