Drafting, Director, Product Support & Services ISG
We're seeking someone to join our team as an Director in the Operations - Institutional Securities Group Product Operations (ISGPO) which partners closely with Sales & Trading and our Clients to process daily activities, develop and implement new products and services, as well as drive efficiency and reduce risk in our processes.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Director level position within Product Support & Services, which is responsible for providing transaction support and managing post execution processes.

What you'll do in the role:
- Serve as a subject matter expert within functional area, working with Team Manager to manage processes, risks and/or projects, proposing and implementing improvements/changes
- Act as key problem solver for area or expertise, applying detailed knowledge to address unique or novel situations, recognize risks and draw out key issues
- Timely and accurate generation of trade confirmations for FID products in accordance with internal bookings, ISDA and industry standards
- Provide documentation support to Institutional Sales and Trading, and Bank Resource Management on ad hoc deals and projects
- Identify risk issues, escalate where appropriate and actively assist in resolving them
- Adopt and maintain stringent process controls to mitigate firm and client risk
- Analysis of current processes and identification of process/system to increase efficiencies
What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, and put forward challenging views to senior levels
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of functional area and operational/compliance policies and procedures of their team
- Ability to operate independently across the majority of day-to-day responsibilities
- Strong working knowledge of ISDA definitions is essential.
- Knowledge of derivative products, settlement processes and drafting systems (thunderhead) is preferable although training will be provided on the job
- Experience in negotiating with clients to resolve language discrepancies
- Strong ability to maintain risk and control while balancing client service
- Minimum bachelor's or master's degree
- Root cause analysis of reoccurring problems with ability to resolve.
- Proactive and aggressive approach to risk management
- At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
