Operating in a coordinated manner and as a complement to the current sales team members (3 people), MSIM is seeking a service oriented and driven individual to work in a support role to the sales team. The individual will work closely with existing Sales and Client Relationship Management ('CRM') teams' engagement activities with current and prospective investors, and connected stakeholders (e.g. research and consultant community). Provide day-to-day support to the Sales and CRM teams, including meeting preparation, RFP coordination, and client follow-up. Assist with the preparation and customisation of client presentations, pitchbooks, and due diligence materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with compliance. Coordinate responses to prospects, clients and consultant queries on investment strategies, performance, and product structures. Maintain accurate records of client activity, pipeline opportunities, and interactions in CRM systems. Collaborate with the CRM function, investment specialist, and reporting teams to deliver client-specific analysis, portfolio updates, and data requests. Support the execution of regular roadshow activity with visiting investment teams and assist in the coordination of prospect and client meetings occurring in MSIM's global offices. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline. Proven experience in asset management, ideally within a global firm. Demonstrated experience in a client service associate (CSA) / distribution support role will be prioritised. Progress toward, or an intention to pursue, a CFA, CAIA or equivalent professional designation is preferred. Familiarity with the Australian institutional landscape, including superannuation funds, sovereign wealth funds, and asset consultants. Solid understanding of institutional investment products and structures (e.g. pooled funds, mandates, private placement funds). Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM (preferably Salesforce) systems. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build credibility with internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a global, fast-paced environment. Commercial acumen and a strong desire to build a career in the asset management industry.
