Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Director, Finance in New York, New York

Conduct monthly independent valuation of financial assets. Prepare summaries on review results for senior finance executives and the trading desks. Review valuation and risk models. Work closely with model developers, controllers, and risk. Assist in the process of enhancing and streamlining existing working processes. Study global financial markets. Support in project work as required on new systems and functionality enhancements. Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day per week.

Salary :

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $125,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the position offered or one (1) year as an Associate, Analyst, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a 3-year or 4-year foreign Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience in the position offered or one (1) year as an Associate, Analyst, or a related occupation. Requires one (1) year of experience with: Valuation of financial assets; working with internal departments including controller, risk, and IT; working on regulatory and audit requirements; Database and presentation tools including Microsoft Excel, AlteryX, and Microsoft PowerPoint; Bloomberg Terminal; overseeing complex business processes and analytical tools; working in coding environments and systems including VBA, SQL, and Python; and collaborating on IT and business development projects.
