Capital Planning & Budgeting: Support business functions in identifying and generating capital investment needs. Consolidate and validate capital requests from global teams to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with strategic goals. Conduct quality checks to confirm that all submissions meet required standards before further review. Facilitate sign-off from key stakeholders across various workstreams and business units. Ensure budget accuracy by collaborating with finance, procurement, and operational teams. Calculate and analyze financial impacts, with a sound understanding of P&L, ensuring all assumptions are well-documented. Submit finalized capital plans to finance, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and reporting standards. Stakeholder Management & Coordination: Act as a central point of contact for capital planning across AMER, EMEA, and APAC. Work closely with regional finance teams, business leaders, and operational stakeholders to align capital planning efforts. Facilitate discussions and governance meetings to drive consensus and ensure decision-making is well-documented. Provide regular status updates and reporting to senior leadership on capital planning progress and key financial considerations. Develop financial models to assess the viability of capital investments. Ensure capital plans align with financial forecasts and long-term business objectives. Provide variance analysis and scenario planning to support investment decisions. Process Improvement & Governance: Ensure adherence to corporate governance, internal controls, and compliance requirements related to capital investments. Essential Proven experience in capital planning, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or corporate finance in a global or multi-region environment. Strong financial acumen, including expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L impact analysis. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and regions. Ability to manage complex financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modelling. Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial planning tools, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Experience in a capital-intensive industry (e.g., infrastructure, manufacturing, retail, technology, etc.). Knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) related to capital expenditure and financial planning. Familiarity with project management methodologies for capital projects. Experience working in a matrixed, multinational organization.
