Direct Lending- Product Specialist- VP

Participate in the fundraising cycle, roadshow presentations, marketing, LP diligence, sales and the closing of investor capital commitments Develop a strong understanding of MSIM's Private Credit platform, and MSPC's suite of funds and investment strategies Support the planning, preparation, and implementation of various investor meetings and / or client events Coordinate with and support broader finance and marketing teams in dealing with ongoing product development, existing clients and prospective investors Partner with the Internal Generalist Sales teams across MSIM to drive sales Work closely with prospective and current clients in Private Wealth Management channels to understand their needs and deliver tailored content to support fundraising efforts and enhance client relationships Cultivate relationships with Wealth Management financial advisors through high-quality interactions including proactive and reactive calls, emails and follow-ups as well as in-person meetings Maintain a high-level of client service by answering inbound inquiries and working with the operations team to resolve specific investor queries Utilize the CRM system to log client interactions and any prospect related activity on a daily basis Liaise with internal private credit team, legal and compliance, and sales and marketing teams Attend industry conferences and client events Other ad hoc projects as required 7+ years of work experience within the financial services industry required (asset management, wealth management, and/or private credit experience preferred) Bachelor's degree require Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization, and represent the Firm in a professional manner Highly organized with good commercial judgment, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a self-directed environment while simultaneously managing competing priorities, including long- term projects and ad hoc requests Superior attention to detail Professional maturity and the ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information Self motivated and a team player with a positive attitude Responsive to stakeholder needs, ability to work under pressure, and with flexibility, to meet tight deadlines and demonstrated ability to anticipate requests / needs Demonstrated knowledge and passion for capital markets, private credit and alternative investments Extensive travel required Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $160,000 and $190,000 year at the commencement of employment.
