Derivatives Operations Associate

Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution Proactively explore solutions to close control gaps and ensure adherence to existing control framework; regular review and understanding of procedures, checklists and reports to ensure they are accurate and current Leverages external and internal contacts to help resolve Client issues Partner with Clearing / TSG teams around the world and colleagues in CSG Qualifications Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values Knowledgeable on the rules of the road relating to Margin and Client Money Strong product skills within Clearing Ops but product literate across other businesses Understanding of Derivatives Clearing and the industry Understand and adapt to Regulatory and Industry change At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role At our foundation are five core values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - that guide our more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
