Data Governance Lead

- Lead a cross-functional team responsible for data cataloguing, data lifecycle management and data governance activities. - Drive the strategic prioritization of data elements and sources across the HR technology landscape to be cataloged. - Ensure accurate classification of data elements in support of Information Security Policies. - Identify and partner with Data Owners to drive data quality accountability; manage the annual validation process. - Establish data lineage to track the flow and transformation of data across platforms. - Report regularly to senior leadership and firm-wide governance forums on the progress and impact of data cataloging and data lifecycle management initiatives. - Oversee the annual data lifecycle management initiatives with business and technology stakeholders. - At least six years of experience in risk and controls; working for a multi-national firm and data governance experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role - At least three years of experience managing a team; ability to distill complex topics into actionable strategies for a team. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with global stakeholders at all levels. - Results-oriented/execution-focused leadership; proactively anticipating needs and prioritizing action steps. - An ability to act independently and take direction, as appropriate. - Bachelor's Degree is required. - Working knowledge of Human Resources Data, PII and sensitive data is a plus.
