- Communicate regularly with product leads across the technology organization and discuss opportunities for improvement to existing and future technology solutions. - Help plan and implement large scale data modernization - Lead a group of developers across time zones in completing planned activities - Develop and support of data pipelines - Ensure high quality product with timely delivery What you'll bring to the role: - Ability to effectively manage multiple functions or guide junior staff and initiatives. - Advanced understanding of business line and discipline with some knowledge of competitive environment and other disciplines. > 12-15 years of career work experience in Distributed data development > Excellent understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (i.e., Data modelling, data transformations) > Hands on experience with Spark, Snowflake and/or Databricks > Strong Skills in Relational Databases and writing complex SQL > Good programming skills with any programming language > Good understanding of Unix shell scripting > Knowledge about DevOps implementation in data space > 6+ years of relevant experience to perform this role.
