Collateral Operations Director

Serve as the primary supervisor within specific collateral coverage with accountability to associated risks Manage direct reports, leading 1:1s and career development, attracting and retaining high quality talent in line with our leadership commitments Introduce greater automation in processes through management, execution and delivery of Transformation initiatives. Review resources to ensure adequate coverage to deliver BAU commitments, highlighting current and future needs to manager Perform and monitor various control activities and reports, KRIs and KPIs to ensure proper risk management Drive global consistency in process, risk and management tools Perform day-to-day supervision of margining process to ensure margin calculations are in accordance with the policies set Manage both internal and external client escalations and relationship regarding the daily OTC collateral process Troubleshoot problems arising on an ad-hoc basis and react to BU and Client driven demands Work with multiple units in operations, BU, risk, legal, compliance and technology on projects and initiatives including delivery on regulatory requirements Ability to lead by example, work with drive and determination, adapt management style to suit individuals and ensure team is well supported with a sense of purpose Prepared to challenge the status quo, raise concerns and create/implement solutions to meet the needs of the team Is a self-starter who takes individual ownership for work quality and improvement Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills, being able to communicate clearly and concisely, moderating style and delivery to suit different parties and media High level of integrity and risk assessment, keeps track of multiple outstanding items and meet tight deadlines Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values and acting as a role model Experienced in delegation, organizational and people management Good understanding of financial products, including equity/fixed income OTC derivatives Must obtain Series 99 license within 6 months of hire if not already obtained At least 4 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role Bachelors Degree required, preferably in a financial related field At our foundation are five core values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - that guide our more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
