Cloud Engineering Specialist (Hybid)

Design, implement, and maintain AWS Landing Zone resources, including accounts, VPCs, IAM roles, and policies. Collaborate with Cloud Security and Engineering teams to align security policies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) blueprints, and guardrails. Establish and maintain network connectivity between AWS environments and other cloud providers or on-premises systems. Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules to ensure consistency, security, and scalability. Assist in migrating applications and resources from acquisition AWS Organizations to the primary AWS Organization. Implement best practices for operational excellence, security, reliability, performance, and cost optimization in AWS environments. Create and maintain technical documentation for AWS infrastructure, processes, and integrations. Provide mentorship to junior team members on secure cloud design principles and IaC practices. 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure engineering. Bachelor's degree in a related field Proficiency in AWS services, including Organizations, IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, and CloudWatch. Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Git). Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or a similar language. Experience with Linux/UNIX systems and container technologies (e.g., Docker). Knowledge of networking concepts, including VPC peering, VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically. Effective communication and written skills, with the ability to create comprehensive technical documentation. Familiarity with AWS security policies, guardrails, and compliance frameworks. Experience working with Kubernetes to manage and run containers is a plus Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (or equivalent) is a plus Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) best practices and integration with IdPs (e.g., Okta) is a plus Build a career with impact.
