Delta one trading is one of the biggest risk-taking desks in equities trading. Traders on this desk act as a market-makers (non HFT) and offer various liquidity offerings to clients on a discretionary and systematic basis. The role is within systematic trading arm of delta one where key aspects of the role combines broad market understanding, knowledge of market impact models, risk models and portfolio construction. We are looking for proactive, self-starting individual to be part of our India team working with EMEA Cash Trading Strats team. This is a challenging role and offering exposure to an interesting, dynamic product group and work environment to build your career in. Back-testing of various ideas and methodologies to manage long/short equity and futures portfolios. Alpha Research Building Tools/Apps to analyze and spot anomalies in a complex & multidimensional marketplace. Regular communication with team members in London and Paris. Degree with a quantitative discipline (BE, BTech in Computer Science, MS in Maths/Statistics/ FE) from Tier 1 & 2 institutes. 1-2 years of relevant working experience in a Tier1 investment bank or buy side firm. Must be able to flexibly respond to changes in priorities, be able to communicate results to a less-technical audience, work well in a team and be comfortable in a front office environment. Strong attention to detail Drive and desire to work in an intense team-oriented environment. In addition, below knowledge is not critical but useful for the role.
