Read on...# What you will bring to the role * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field * Several years of professional work experience with C++ * Good knowledge of Unix/Linux * Excellent written and verbal communication skillsThings to highlight on your resumeWhile these are not required, we are very interested in speaking with people who have exposure to the following technologies or subjects. Do not hesitate to highlight them on your resume! * Experience building real time applications in C++ using STL/Boost/Multithreading for the Unix/Linux platform * Experience with Python, Perl, Scala or Shell scripting * Experience with SQL, Sybase, DB2, Greenplum * Experience developing client-server, distributed, real-time, performance-critical, highly available, or large-scale systems * Knowledge of trading, risk and pricing systems for Fixed Income Securities and FX market data exchanges. * Knowledge of financial technologies (e.g. FIX protocol) and business applications * Knowledge of low latency techniques like kernel bypass, RDMA, shared memory data structure, core pinning * Knowledge and experience on agile software development practices * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Knowledge of financial modelling * Delivery/Project management experienceAt Morgan Stanley Montreal, we support the Firm's global businesses and infrastructure with cutting edge technology and innovation.
