In this role on the Business Information and Analytics (BIA) team, you will report directly to the Asia Head of BIA in Tokyo as a Sector Aligned Trusted Advisor covering Retail, Healthcare, and Consumer markets. You will provide high value research and actionable insights/deliverables as a sector specialist, supporting internal clients in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Research, Investment Management, etc. primarily in Japan and Asia. Candidates with experience in data analytics or leveraging technology to improve business processes will also find opportunities to develop and promote the next generation of information services and analytics. As a Business Information and Analytics Expert, you will Conduct Comprehensive Market Research Utilize third-party vendors to gather accurate and insightful market data, supporting the decision-making processes of internal clients. Develop Sector Expertise Cultivate deep subject matter expertise in your aligned sector to provide informed insights and recommendations. Act as a Trusted Advisor Collaborate with internal clients to interpret their requirements effectively, create innovative business artifacts, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products. Understand and Maintain Models Demonstrate proficiency in modeling practices, including financial, benchmarking, and KPI models, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant for internal clients. Develop Business Opportunities Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities for Business Information and Analytics (BIA) to enhance information gathering and synthesis for both new and existing clients. Leverage Technology for Innovation Utilize new tools and technologies, including automation and Generative AI, to drive continuous improvement and optimization of our products and services. Experience of VBA, UIPATH, Power Automate, Python or other automation tools. Experience of AI prompting or utilization of GenAI in a business environment.
