BI Developer_Associate_Software Engineering

Develop and build enterprise level applications using BI technologies. Design and develop scalable data model to create intuitive reporting and dashboard. Design and deliver cross functional custom reporting solutions. Analyze Business User Stories and translate them into meaningful tasks. Interface with global team of developers and business users. Work as part of Agile Squad / Fleet. Perform proof of concepts in new areas of development. Support continuous improvement of automated systems. Participate in all aspects of SDLC (analysis, design, coding, testing and implementation) At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role Business Objects Reports Development & Universe Design Tableau Dashboard Development. Power BI Development and Azure Relational databases DB2, Sybase, and Teradata. DDL and DML writing skills are essential as well as being able to write complex SQLs for data analysis. Experience data modeling and transformation of large-scale data sources using SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Snowflake, Teradata or other Big Data technologies. Knowledge of version control systems, such as GIT/BitBucket Data warehousing concepts (Facts, Dimensions, star and snowflake design, etc.) Experience with some scheduling tool ( e.g. Tivoli, Autosys) Database Performance and Tuning Unix Scripting Understanding of the requirements of large enterprise applications (security, entitlements, etc.). Knowledge of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). Proficiency writing unit tests within a Test Driven Development (TDD) methodology.
