Deliver high quality financial advice to clients, working closely with professionals throughout the Firm. Work within the Media & Communications Investment Banking Group on complex strategic advisory, buyside or sellside M&A, public and private equity, hybrid security & debt capital raising transactions across various industry sub-sectors. Assist in the execution of investment banking transactions including collaboration with third party lawyers, accountants, consultants and counter-party financial advisors. Perform complex financial analysis, strategic business analysis, and detailed industry research. Participate in and contribute to team discussions and client meetings. Prepare and deliver client presentations in a clear and compelling manner. Requires a Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Investment Banking Associate, Research Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with: Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint; Factset and Eikon; Financial Modeling including building financial projections, DCF, post-merger models, capitalization table analysis, merger consequences analysis, LBO, Sum of the Parts (SOTP), WACC, tax asset optimization, trading comparable and precedent transaction analysis, and credit and rating agency analysis; building bottoms up operating models with operating drivers across all financial statements; presenting strategic and financial analysis to client senior executives; analyzing and reconciling IFRS and GAAP financial statements; using broker consensus estimates and public information sources including Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and LSEG Refinitiv; conducting client on-boarding and Know Your Client (KYC) processes; Risk Management analysis; conducting business, financial, and legal due diligence in collaboration with third party lawyers, accountants, auditors, consultants, and financial advisors; creating Confidential Information Memos (CIM), marketing materials, client presentations, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Indemnifications and Engagement Letters, and Purchase, Sale and Merger Agreements in collaboration with lawyers.
