We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Wealth Management Operations to join a growing team as we look to expand the footprint of the Wealth Canada business. This person will be working on the Operations team and will be responsible to service 4 different business lines, maintain relationships with internal and external partners and adhering to CIRO regulations as it pertains to client or advisor activity.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo. This is an Associate level position within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What you'll do in the role:

• Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team

• Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements

• Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output

• Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution

• Assist in gathering relevant details required during compliance reviews as well as both internal and external audits.

• Familiarize, create, maintain and update standard operation procedures and workflow documentation to ensure consistency, compliance and efficiencies

• Support the onboarding of managed and fee-based accounts by reviewing documentation, setting up billing parameters and ensuring accurate system configuration aligning with firm policy.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision

• Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests

• Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good organizations skills, with the ability to multitask

• Knowledge of Retail Canadian Wealth Account Types for client Account Opening types: (Cash, Margin, Registered, Managed Accounts) and Product types: mutual funds (PAC/SIP/SWIP's) & Fee Based Products (Fee set up & posting)

• At least 3 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
