Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role:Primary Responsibilities • Should be able to plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to design, development and implementation of organizational reporting and analytics using Power BI. • Should be able to convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide the timeline to accomplish tasks. • Collaborate with Data Control, Credit Risk Agile IT squads, Credit Coverage and Business Unit representatives, to identify new and emerging data required, on-boarded into credit risk system and aim at leveraging Power BI for quick and smart real-time decisions. • Participate in data curation and building Power BI dashboards Skills/Experience Required: • Minimum 3 years of Power BI software development preferably in the Financial Services industry. Need to have successful Power BI deliverables in agile environment. • Strong experience in Power BI data modelling and semantic layer implementation. Sound knowledge of database management, business intelligence and SQL query. • Proficient in writing DAX calculations and optimizing DAX queries is a must. • Creating visuals, reports and dashboards based on business requirements using Power BI. The ability to drill down data and visualize it in the best possible way through charts, reports, or dashboards. • Should be able to maintain and support existing reports. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including delivering effective presentations to senior management. • Well organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail • Ability to collaborate with colleagues in other geographic locationsWhat you'll bring to the role:Additional skills (nice to have): • Experience with business intelligence software (Tableau, QlikView, SAP Business Object etc.) • Understanding of Credit Risk, lending and/or traded products. • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PythonWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
