Read on...What you'll do in the role:The design, development, maintenance, and support of web-based applications and/or distributed applications Translating high-level business requirements on multiple, complex requests into detailed functional, technical, and/or system specifications and designs.Work with cross-functional team to ensure that all key technical requirements are identified, estimated, designed, implemented, and tested.Testing and analysing software designs and solutions (including debugging and troubleshooting)What you'll bring to the role:• At least 4+ years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role• 4+ years of experience as an Application Developer with design and developing multi-tier Python applications• Bachelor's degree (or similar) in computer science or related field• Understanding of machine learning concepts, model training, and evaluation• Familiarity with GenAI architectures (e.g. transformers, LLMs like GPT)• Experience with APIs, especially OpenAI, Azure Open AI and RESTful services.• Experience of using open-source frameworks like PyTorch, LangChain, etc.• Knowledge of secure coding, data privacy and adversarial attack vectors• Familiarity with deployment on Microsoft Azur• Experience with containerization (Docker and Kubernetes)• Ability to Query Relational Databases like DB2, Sybase and Cloud data sources like snowflake• SOAP & REST Web Services with on XML/JSON based data• Experience with Development tools (Jupyter, VS Code, Maven/Gradle)• Experience with Git and DevOps tools• Experience with Jenkins, CI, Sonar• Experience in the development of service-oriented architecture applications• A strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and ability to deliver solutions using TDD, BDD• Excellent problem-solving skills• Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Capable of collaborating effectively across a variety of IT and Business groups, across regions and different roles• Good customer service skills. Ability to deal with difficult situations/individuals graceful.
