There is a large focus on innovation, inclusion, giving back to the community and sharing knowledge.Department profile: Wealth Management and Investment Management Technology (WMIMT) is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical platform behind the products and services used by the Business. Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (WM) is a product of the acquisition of Smith Barney from Citigroup, which was completed in June ‘13. Its core client base is individual investors, small- to medium-size businesses and institutions, and high net worth families and individuals.In the second half, WM reached a milestone, with its business having surpassed $2 trillion in total client assets.The Analytics and Data Technology department is a horizontal within the broader Global Wealth Management division of Morgan Stanley. The department focuses on providing cutting edge data and information management solutions, including strategic insights for Financial Advisors and other functional groups within the firm. The ADT group delivers integrated enterprise data domains and seamless information flows to present information as a strategic asset. Position Overview:The candidate would play AEM Dev/Sr dev role in Wealth Management Analytics and Data technology team. ADT team is seeking a developer to join and take responsibility to deliver strategy CMS solution for Digital Marketing.The candidate will play a hands-on technical developer role in the execution of multiple strategic projects.Required Experience: 6 to 9 YearsSkill Set: AEM & JavaPrimary skills * Candidate must have experience in developing and maintaining applications deployed in the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content management system platform. * Design and build components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the Adobe CQ/AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGi, JCR). * Working knowledge of the Java Content Repository (JCR) suite, Sling web framework, Apache Felix OSGi framework, digital asset management and workflows is required. * Working experience with editable templates and touch UI component development. * Working experience of managing users and their permissions in AEM. * Development experience in Sightly/HTL, Adobe AEM 6.x, RESTful web services and basic html/JS knowledge. * Candidate should be able to follow development practices and often refactor code to reduce technical debt by creating reusable components & templates that meet standards and business needs. * Good understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries and JSTL skills, combined with a solid understanding of Enterprise Java. * Should work in team or as individual contributor to work in an Agile project.Good to have skills * Angular/ExtJS experience * Exposure to Agile development process. * Working knowledge of Java SDK 1.6+, Websphere Application Server 7, and Tomcat. * Coordinate with global counterparts for development activities. * Good interpersonal skills, having positive approach and team player.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
