Senior Marketing Strategist

Location: India

We are looking for a candidate with strong demand generation / field marketing experience and an outcome-based mindset to lead a high growth region. The candidate needs to have a proven, integrated approach to marketing and strong stakeholder management skills.

You will be aligned with the Moody's RMS APJ sales organization and report to the Senior Director of Global Demand Generation. Through collaboration with sales leadership and other key stakeholders, you will work to raise awareness of RMS's robust Risk Management portfolio in the market while generating new business leads. You will define a regional marketing plan that aligns to global and region business priorities, positively impacting revenue and delivering ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • You will create and execute targeted regional marketing programs and collaborate with global marketing team on effective campaigns to drive demand. Regional programs will include, but not limited to ABM initiatives, direct marketing campaigns, association programs, industry events, proprietary events, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Own and build the demand generation / field marketing plan with input and expertise from key internal stakeholders; to include hybrid, digital and in-person programs.
  • Facilitate conversation with sales stakeholders and align field marketing plan to meet sales and marketing goals.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns to support field marketing programs. Partner closely with Product Marketing, Content team, Corporate Communications, Integrated Campaigns, and Sales teams to create detailed plans and metrics for campaigns/programs/tactics.
  • Develop C-level programs that include executive networking events, round tables, and integrated programs.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to establish priorities, goals, and targets, and develop strategic and tactical plans to deliver on those targets.
  • Collaborate with other regional Field Marketing teams on in-region programs to support regional pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Own metrics and reporting for all campaigns including lead generation, pipeline contribution, and awareness metrics.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five years software/technology demand generation / field marketing experience (Bonus: if you have commercial insurance marketing experience).
  • Must demonstrate an ability to conceptualize and execute programs that have yielded ROI.
  • Proven success with integrated B2B marketing campaigns, including goal setting, budget management and results measurement.
  • Large scale organizational and project management skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
  • This role has many internal stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and respect from sales leadership and other colleagues is required.
  • Self-motivated, able to work autonomously and communicate with remote management for extended periods of time.
  • Strong demand generation experience building multi-touch, integrated campaigns.
  • Knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce and other MarTech is preferred.
  • The successful candidate must have limitless energy and be able to prioritize and tackle goals in a fast paced, evolving globally diverse environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English, a must; and other languages would be a nice to have.
  • Ability to organize and present data in a clear and concise manner. Comfortable presenting conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or business.
