As our Data Reliability Engineer, you'll be an integral player in a team dedicated to excellence. Key Responsibilities:

Champion Data Integrity: Be the guardian of data accuracy across our systems, embodying our commitment to quality and reliability. Help us define and write tests that validate business rules, and performing rigorous testing to ensure data quality

Innovate in Error Resolution: Proactively discover and quickly resolve data discrepancies, leveraging technologies like Snowflake and dbt.

Craft Cutting-edge Systems: Design and maintain systems for data monitoring and exploration, using Python, Airflow, and AWS as your tools of choice.

Enhance Deployment and Validation Processes: Take the initiative in refining deployment strategies, ensuring post-deployment validations of data are thorough and accurate. Coordinate testing with downstream applications, ensuring seamless integration and minimizing disruptions to data flow.

Collaborate for Success: Partner with cross-functional teams, sharing your expertise and absorbing theirs, to enhance our collective understanding of data integrity.

Communicate and Document: Create impactful reports and maintain detailed documentation, reflecting our dedication to clarity and transparency.

Embrace Continuous Learning: Stay ahead of the curve in data technology, bringing innovative and efficient practices to our data systems.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related fields, reflecting a strong foundation.
  • 3+ years experience
  • Demonstrated experience in data engineering or quality assurance, showcasing your journey.
  • Expertise in Python, Airflow, AWS, Snowflake, and dbt - the tools that empower our data integrity.
  • A problem-solver's mindset and excellent communication skills, echoing our ethos of collaborative growth.
