Moody's Compliance function operates globally to provide Compliance support, guidance and implementation to its business lines. This role is part of the EMEA Compliance team who are based out of London, Frankfurt, Paris, Dubai and Vilnius. The team is responsible for developing, implementing and administering the company's internal Compliance function across the EMEA region.
Within an evolving regulatory environment, the successful candidate will provide support to the EMEA Compliance team, primarily supporting regulatory reporting including notification to regulators, as well as providing Compliance support of regulatory implementations and remediations.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and submission of Compliance and regulatory reporting for internal (e.g. Board, endorsement committee) and external use (periodic and ad-hoc reporting to regulators)
Support the successful transition of regulatory reporting to its new operating model where applicable, including implementation of controls and change management activities such as drafting business rules for IT, creation of checklists, communications, training, procedures, etc.
Develop and maintain up to date processes and procedures for accurate, timely and complete reporting
Support and maintain up to date internal Compliance toolkits and operational procedures
Support information gathering, review and generation of responses for regulatory supervision, support regulatory implementation and remediations in relation to periodic reporting;
Continuously seek out opportunities to streamline and standardize processes and enhance operational controls and efficiencies
Work closely with the global Compliance team on a variety of Compliance matters including the implementation and administration of the company's Compliance programme in the region
Provide day-to-day Compliance guidance and advice to lines of business
Analyse and escalate emerging issues expeditiously in order to provide visibility of risks to senior management

Qualifications:

5 years+ relevant post-qualification experience gained in Compliance, Risk Management, Operations in a regulated environment. Experience in regulated financial institutions or capital markets environment preferred
Strong academic background, including university degree, preferably in law
Proactive, highly organized and efficient, diligent with high attention to detail
Critical thinking, evidence of thoughtful and insightful approach to issues whilst maintaining the highest ethical standards
Self-starter and team player with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple, competing priorities
Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint skills and knowledge of Word
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact comfortably with different levels in the organisation and articulate/present matters clearly and succinctly
Works effectively and supportively within a team as well as being able to work autonomously without the need for close supervision

Annual base salary gross: 41,100 EUR to 65,900 EUR. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
