The Role: Clinic Manager

Your mission:
Help build, coach, and lead a team that delivers exceptional veterinary care with empathy and excellence. You’ll be the onsite leader—ensuring your clinic is not only operationally sound but also emotionally healthy.
You’ll be doing things like:
- Coaching, mentoring, and developing a diverse team of humans who care deeply
- Collaborating on hiring and onboarding with an eye toward both skill and cultural fit
- Owning and optimizing the schedule to ensure flow, productivity, and sustainability
- Managing performance, giving meaningful feedback, and championing growth
- Contributing to a thriving business by upholding operational excellence and financial health as foundations for sustainable, high-quality care
- Modeling and maintaining a culture of kindness, curiosity, accountability, and humor
- Advocating for your clinic and making sure the team’s voice is heard in broader company conversations
- Jumping in where needed—whether it’s on the floor, in a client conversation, or in a strategy meeting
You Might Thrive Here If You:
- Have 5+ years of people leadership experience (veterinary preferred, but not required)

Location & Schedule
This role is based out of one of our Dallas Clinics, with some local travel for training and cross-functional meetings. Evening and weekend availability is required, as you’ll be supporting a team that works when pets need us most.

The job of Clinic Manager at Modern Animal requires regular evening and weekend work, managing direct reports as well as working closely with the shift leads working with clients experiencing emotional distress and/or frustration, and handling uncooperative patients.
The pay range for this position is $67,500- $92,250 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This information is provided per the California Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on geographic location.
