Tax - Transfer Pricing Associate

This role is hybrid, with an expectation of two to three days in the office each week, subject to change based on organizational needs.

As a dynamic and integral member of our Tax team, the Tax - Transfer Pricing Associate will collaborate closely with the Section Director to enhance and manage our transfer pricing strategy and compliance. This role is pivotal in ensuring up-to-date compliance and optimizing our intercompany transaction policies, guided by the latest regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient Transaction Management: Promptly and accurately approve new transaction requests, adhering to IRC 482 regulations to ensure compliance and efficacy.
  • Comprehensive Documentation: Systematically gather and analyze data for annual transfer pricing documentation in line with IRC 6662 requirements.
  • Regulatory Vigilance: Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in transfer pricing regulations to proactively adapt our strategies.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with various teams to enhance the visibility and understanding of transfer pricing practices, ensuring all intercompany transactions are compliant and effectively managed.
  • Policy Management: Maintain and update transfer pricing policies and guidelines.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Provide timely and informed responses to various internal queries regarding transfer pricing matters.
  • External Consultant Liaison: Engage with external consultants for specialized analysis, ensuring robust and comprehensive transfer pricing strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-3 years in transfer pricing or accounting within the financial services sector. CPA qualification is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerBI) and/or Alteryx.

The expected base salary ranges from $75,000 - $120,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
