Business Analyst - EAM- HYBRID (Northeast Region)

Symetri is seeking a driven Business Analyst with a specialized background in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) platforms. This role is critical for conducting deep business analysis, guiding technology implementations, supporting client engagements, and leading user training initiatives.

 

Note: Due to the nature of project assignments — all within NY, NJ, and MA — regular onsite workshops, monthly trainings, and in-person meetings are essential. Therefore, only candidates local to the Northeast U.S. region will be considered.

Key Responsibilities Include:

                     Conduct detailed business and technical analysis tied to CMMS/EAM systems.

                     Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and facilitate training sessions.

                     Document business, functional, and technical requirements with full traceability.

                     Support system implementations, enhancements, migrations, and integrations.

                     Prepare business cases, process diagrams, and facilitate UAT activities.

                     Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and vendor partners.

                     Support change management practices and adoption strategies during rollouts.

 

Qualifications:

                 5+ years professional business analysis experience, of which three years are focused on supporting maintenance program activities using an enterprise solution (Maximo, Infor, SAP PM, etc.)

                 Strong and demonstrated understanding of maintenance operations and asset management workflows.

                 Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Power BI.

                  Experience with a software development methodology such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

                 IIBA Certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification within 6 months.

                 Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to business audiences.

 

Preferred:

                 Prior experience with multiple CMMS/EAM system implementations or major upgrades.

                 Understanding of system integration across ERP and EAM platforms.

                 Ability to independently and proactively drive business analysis and stakeholder engagement.

 

Additional Requirements:

                 Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

                 Must reside within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA, New York City, or the broader Northeast U.S. region.

                 Must be willing to travel up to 20% for onsite workshops, monthly trainings, and in-person meetings.

 

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience.
