Key Responsibilities:




  • Oversees small to medium sized projects or components of medium to large Waterfall and/or agile projects

  • May lead up to 2 onshore and/or offshore scrum teams in low to moderate complexity work streams

  • Help the team(s) embrace Agile values, adopts, and apply Agile principles, and implement Agile practice

  • Facilitate daily standups, iteration reviews, and iteration planning ceremonies to ensure full team engagement

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to support short and long-term release planning, while maintaining a healthy team backlog ready for execution

  • Collaborate with the Release Train Engineer to remove impediments across collaborating teams

  • Facilitate retrospectives to ensure teams are constantly improving; facilitate transparency and a continuous learning mindset

  • Track and report on agile team metrics (CFD, Burndown/up, velocity), escalating issues as needed

  • Aware of and adhere to audit/compliance requirements for execution

  • Participate in SM (scrum master) Community of Practice





Essential Business and Technical Skills & Experiences

Required:




  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline




  • 4 years of working experience in IT experience

  • Knowledge of PMI project management concepts and practices

  • Familiar with basic technology concepts and Software Development Life Cycle using different methodologies and frameworks e.g., Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban etc.




  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles, concepts, and methodology

  • Experience using MS Office tools (MS Office suite of applications – PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel Sheet etc.), JIRA with demonstrated presentation, influencing, facilitation and stakeholder management skills



Preferred:




  • Working toward PMP certification. PMP certification

  • Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment

  • 2 years of Scrum Master experience in Agile software development including coaching on Agile methodologies

  • One or more Scrum Certification strongly preferred: Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional ScrumMaster (PSM), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification (SSM, SASM)
