Workforce Planner
As a Planner within Meta's Workforce Planning & Operations team, you will drive headcount operations and strategic workforce planning across multiple business areas. This FTE role is responsible for delivering actionable workforce insights, facilitating annual and in-year headcount allocation exercises, supporting reorganization efforts, and managing workforce escalations. You will play a critical role in operational workforce management, engaging in position management activities and collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure Meta's talent strategy aligns with business objectives.
Workforce Planner Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the yearly headcount planning cycle, developing and managing end-to-end project plans to ensure timely delivery
- Own and manage position management for headcount at granular levels, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Proactively minimize downstream impacts and communicate changes effectively, partnering with recruiting teams to adapt to shifting hiring priorities
- Collaborate with Mission Control, analysts, and cross-functional partners to develop robust reporting and analytics
- Leverage data- insights to inform workforce decisions and provide strategic recommendations
- Manage headcount allocations to support business growth, balancing supply and demand through collaboration with Finance, Recruiting, HR, and business teams
- Build relationships with hiring managers, finance, and HR partners to understand hiring needs and optimize demand-supply processes
- 3+ years of workforce planning/management or equivalent experience
- BA/BS degree in Finance, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated thought leadership within an organization
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with finance and recruiting processes
- Dive into analytics and communicate data-driven stories
- Experience influencing and presenting to leadership
- Proficiency with complex data/analytics tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Advanced spreadsheet skills
- Experience in workforce planning, headcount planning, and allocation management
