As a Hardware Regulatory Readiness and Compliance Technical Program Manager at Meta, you will play a critical role in crafting our compliance strategy to ensure that our products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive compliance across biocompatibility, materials, radios & signal emissions, industry certifications, product marking, product safety, and medical devices. Your technical expertise and program management skills will be essential in delivering high-quality products that meet customer needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Technical Program Manager, Hardware Regulatory Readiness and Compliance Responsibilities:
- Own and drive end-to-end compliance program strategy, execution, and risks to ensure successful launch of new products
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Engineering, Business Leads, and other key cross-functional stakeholders during all phases of new product development
- Translate regulatory requirements into product requirements and technical implementation plans
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive technical analysis, manage dependencies, risks, and testing plans
- Lead leadership reviews to drive strategy implementation plans
- Develop and document processes to continually improve efficiency and reduce complexity
- Define and track key metrics and performance indicators and drive cross-functional execution of program deliverables
- Influence product decisions to align with global company initiatives

- B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 7 years industry experience, with at least 5 years specifically in engineering or technical product/program management
- Experience in consumer electronics from inception to delivery
- Experience working with multiple cross functional partner groups such as engineering, legal, safety, compliance, biocompatibility, privacy, security, product management, and operations
- Experience working in consumer electronics driving regulatory readiness and compliance deliverables
- Direct experience working with regulatory agencies or industry organizations
- Experience in the compliance and regulatory domain with an understanding of regulations, legal obligations, standards, and overall skills to interpret regulations for hardware devices and schedule impact
- Track record of implementing compliance and regulations in 2 or more hardware disciplines: Product Safety, Device Certification, Biocompatibility, Environmental, EMC, Wireless, Battery, Packaging, etc
- Proficient communicator for high-level leadership presentations in both slide messaging and conversation
