The Communications Measurement Team is growing as we endeavor to measure the efficacy and impact of Meta's Communications and Marketing efforts. In this role, you will create the measurement frameworks and employ the necessary methodologies to gauge the impact of campaigns and moments relative to company KPIs. The ideal candidate will possess not only the proficiency to devise solutions across technical teams, but also experience in public relations, media, or related fields.
Technical Program Manager, Communications Measurement Team Responsibilities:
- Owns / creates complex research plans involving many stakeholders
- collaborates with partner organizations to proactively develop and influence strategic direction and vision.
- Implements causal methodologies, time series analysis, experiments, survey data, etc. to answer key questions on Comms impact.
- Manages source-of-truth data sources for traditional press and social media monitoring.
- Contributes to vital reporting on the state of the organization, drafts recommendations, and influences strategic decision making.
- Manages multiple projects and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Delivers impact spanning several organizations across the company and navigates internal politics with skill.
- Brings clarity to ambiguous spaces across teams, foresees and mitigates risks, and identifies opportunities for scaling impact.

- Bachelor's Degree in a technical or research-oriented field such as data science, engineering, social science, or related fields (with focus on research - e.g. data journalism).
- 6+ years of work experience in quantitative research, statistics, or data analysis.
- Proven experience in technical writing and advanced communication skills when presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge in statistical analysis and associated tools/languages (e.g. R, SQL, Stata)
- Intermediate level of experience in object oriented programming (e.g. Python, C++, Java).
- Advanced / graduate degree in a technical or research-oriented field such as data science, engineering, social science, or related fields (with focus on research - e.g. data journalism).
- Experience with web development and associated languages (e.g. HTML, Javascript, PHP, CSS).
- Work experience in public relations, media, journalism, or politics.
