Beat Games is an integral part of Reality Labs at Meta, and we have ambitious plans for our future. We are actively searching for a seasoned Producer to join our studio in Prague, Czech Republic, as we aim to elevate Beat Saber to new heights. Our award-winning game studio is behind the VR sensation, Beat Saber, which has sold over 4 million copies to date and has collaborated with some of the biggest names in music such as Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, BTS and The Weeknd. This is a key role in building the future of VR games and entertainment with the Beat Games team. We are a growing team of leaders in the VR industry at the cutting edge of where music and games come together. This role will help deliver new features, services, and improvements to Beat Saber across multiple VR platforms. Leveraging your extensive background in game development and your deep understanding of the inner workings and interactions of each discipline, you will take charge of cross-disciplinary game features and teams. Your primary focus will be on delivering top-quality results. This role requires strong self-direction and follow-up skills, along with exceptional communication and project management skills.

Producer Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate end-to-end production of development projects including new game features. Partner with project leads on resources allocation and priorities to ensure production schedules are met and maintain a cohesive creative vision throughout the development cycle.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple cross-functional teams and establish strong partnerships.
  • Actively identify opportunities for process and tooling improvements and relationship building around you, and partner with others to bring these ideas to fruition.
  • Own milestone and sprint planning, retrospectives, and art/design/development approval processes to drive high quality results.
  • Ability to proactively communicate while identifying the right audience with appropriate tone, clarity, and timing.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity but with an ability to drive towards clarity.
  • Encourage & participate in open communication within the development team, ensuring outcomes are well-documented and surfaced.
  • Work with the QA team to ensure coverage of new features and content as they become ready for testing.
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to help guide key project decisions through presentation of live game metrics.
  • Comfortable escalating issues to senior management as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and constructive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of proven experience in a Game Production role or similar with excellent verbal and written communication skills, time and project management skills.
  • Minimum of two AAA shipped titles.
  • Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors and XFN partners.
  • Skilled in navigating conflict and driving consensus with multiple stakeholders.
  • Understanding of various production processes, methodologies, and project management tools used by development teams such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills sharing feature updates as an embedded team producer.
  • Mature game development life cycle knowledge that can identify and mitigate production risks within the Studio.
  • Experience working on a live game - maintaining a frequent release cadence.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • VR development experience
  • Analytical skills and experience with data-driven product design and decision-making.
  • Experience with co-development amongst internal and external development teams.
  • Ability to manage and support multiple game feature projects simultaneously within the Studio.
  • Passion for gaming and for keeping up to date with the current best practices in the industry.
