Risk Operations are responsible for scaled workflows and actor-level investigations that protect people from financial fraud. We partner closely with product and engineering to reduce revenue loss for Meta across a wide range of payments products - Ads, Donations, Creator Monetization, Commerce, Messenger & WhatsApp Payments, and others. Example problems we support include the use of stolen credit cards, payment account compromise, and intentional non-payment - problems that harm both people and Meta's financials.The Risk Process Specialist is responsible for designing and scaling operational workflows related to fraud mitigation and customer support for enforcement appeals. They partner with multiple teams to ensure our tools and methods are constantly improved to support new product launches and in response to the ever-changing fraud landscape. They provide insights relating to the customer experience for necessary product and process improvements so that we can reduce the impact of our risk systems on legitimate customers.We are seeking a self-starter who has demonstrated success in driving impact across global organizations, is highly collaborative, and has a track-record as an effective operations expert. You consider yourself a curious individual who has proven experience operating in ambiguity, and is a strategic and operational thinker with demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving skills. You have extensive experience with process improvement and operational efficiency, and will be contributing to delivering on some of Meta's most important product goals through operational execution.

Process Specialist, Risk Operations Responsibilities:
- Become a subject matter expert in core risk infrastructure, process design, tools, systems, and data to drive informed decision-making
- Design, build, and improve processes and systems that contribute to operational efficiency, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement
- Manage and improve day-to-day operations against quality and efficiency targets in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment, driving results-oriented performance
- Identify gaps, perform analyses, and develop frameworks to guide Ops strategy, informing business decisions and driving growth
- Lead investigations and resolve issues escalated to the team regarding financial payment risks, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Operations teams to determine fraud review and support requirements, solving problems at scale and driving business outcomes
- Develop project schedules based on product requirements, technical challenges, tooling lead-times, and business needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and available for staff and leadership review, while managing communications to wide audiences through various mediums (e.g., project plans, presentations, analyses, etc.)
- 4+ years of experience working in consulting, financial operations, trust & safety, or a related team
- Experience managing multiple competing projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Problem-solver with proven execution and experience to influence and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Experience communicating issues and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams across different regions, including Europe, Asia, and Americas
- 6+ years of experience working in a financial, operations, or risk-specific environment at a high-growth tech company
- 4+ years of experience working on a trust or safety or e-commerce related team
- Financial or regulatory compliance expertise, with understanding of relevant industry standards and requirements
- Experience developing and delivering high-quality training programs and materials for internal and external teams
