Strategy & Operations serves as a trusted thought partner to the Partnerships leadership team, helping shape strategic direction and driving operational rigor.The Strategy & Operations team is looking for an experienced Partnerships Strategy Lead to help define and advance our medium- and long-term strategic position with critical partners and ecosystems. This role focuses on identifying untapped partnership opportunities, framing partner and ecosystem plays, and shaping perspectives on how partners enable Meta's product and company strategy to build the next computing platforms across Metaverse and AI. Working across multiple projects in parallel, this role combines domain knowledge, critical thinking, and distinctive storytelling to shape the decision-making at the executive level.The ideal candidate has domain expertise in the products that Meta and other companies are building to advance consumer experiences in AR/VR and AI, has a consulting and/or strategy background in emerging technologies, and has a track record of working with and influencing executives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Partnerships Strategy Lead, VR/AR and AI Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strategic frameworks around ecosystems (e.g. AI, Mixed Reality, Wearables), surfacing white space and disruptive shifts in partner opportunities
- Analyze competitors' strategies, strengths, and weaknesses to inform partnership decisions and identify high-leverage opportunities
- Define long-term "next plays" with strategic partners in taking a long term view of strategic priorities for executive review and alignment
- Develop business case for new zero to one partnerships and incubation test ideas
- Inform the development of partnerships strategies for new markets, products, and/or verticals as a trusted advisor to Reality Labs Partnerships leadership
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, finance and sales, to inform business decisions
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science, business administration or related field.
- 12+ years of work experience, including 7+ years of related experience in venture capital, management consulting, investment banking, strategy or corporate development roles in the technology industry.
- General domain or market knowledge of AR/VR, AI or other emerging consumer technologies.
- Experience leading strategic assessments with a focus on new and emerging technologies.
- Experience problem-solving, analyzing complex data sets and drawing meaningful conclusions.
- Experience presenting and communicating insights and recommendations to executives and cross-functional teams.
- Experience understanding market trends and developing strategic recommendations.
- Experience leading cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Experience in fast-paced, highly ambiguous start-up environments.
- Technical or product knowledge in AR/VR and/or AI.
- Master's degree in Engineering/Computer Science or Business Administration.
- Experience at a leading private investment firm, consulting, or technology firm.
- Experience supporting product leadership in successfully launching new products and/or businesses.
- Experience leading strategic assessments with a focus in the AR/VR and/or AI space.
