The Partner Engineering team is looking for an impact-focused Manager to lead full-stack development with an entrepreneurial mindset. The team is composed of technology experts that apply their software engineering skills to bring a unique blend of business and technology expertise to ensure our partners succeed. Our team is at the intersection of business and innovation where you will execute on solving real-world business challenges through Meta's platforms and community in many of today's most exciting industries and products. These include AI, Messaging, Advertising, Video, Commerce, Metaverse, Gaming, Creators, and more.This is a hands-on role where you will balance developing production-grade code for Meta, cross-functional leadership, and people management. We help Meta's marketing and advertising partners succeed and reach their business goals with Meta products, by finding technological solutions to meet their needs. We are passionate about working closely with our external clients and partners across many industries - travel, retail, e-commerce, gaming, financial services, automotive, entertainment and beyond.

Partner Engineering Manager - Monetization Responsibilities:
  • Manage and scale an inclusive team by attracting and mentoring people at various levels of experience
  • Build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Meta product engineering teams
  • Communicate strategic information and context from the company and organization
  • Influence the roadmap and product development
  • Design and build end-to-end systems and launch-plan strategies
  • Partner with stakeholders to make ongoing program and project decisions
  • Use technical and soft skills to build productive relationships with partners
  • Guide workflow changes and gain consensus from stakeholders
  • Influence decision-making through presentation of data-centric business topics
  • Set clear expectations and goals, and manage team performance
  • Conduct code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years of experience managing a team of engineers
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree or experience
  • Experience with designing, building, and iterating on scalable software platforms
  • Experience building software in languages like Python, Objective-C, PHP, C/C++, Ruby, C# or other programming languages
  • Experience proactively identifying and executing organizational and product improvements across several teams
  • Experience building consensus within large cross-functional organizations
  • Experience in translating technical concepts into language for various audiences
  • Experience growing teams and designing organizations to maximize impact
  • Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies
  • Knowledge of the social media landscape globally
  • Experience working with global teams

$173,000/year to $247,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
