Meta is hiring a Net Zero Program Manager on the Net Zero Scaled Supplier Engagement team. This position will work with internal stakeholders to drive strategy and carbon reduction opportunities to meet Meta's Net Zero 2030 value chain goal, including developing and implementing scalable processes to engage suppliers across Meta's value chain.
Net Zero Program Manager, Scaled Supplier Engagement Responsibilities:
- Build and manage relationships, form consensus, and coordinate with internal, cross-functional partners to facilitate alignment and sponsorship of decarbonization initiatives.
- Drive identification, evaluation, and prioritization of transformational decarbonization solutions using technical, financial and supply chain criteria
- Engage cross-functional teams to implement a portfolio of greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction programs that align with corporate strategy and goals
- Engage across Net Zero & Sustainability, legal, sourcing (procurement), and other cross-functional teams to integrate net zero requirements into the procurement life cycle, including scaling communication of Meta's Net Zero supplier requirements and the distribution of supplier training and resources to support their GHG reduction journey.
- Leverage internal and industry datasets and tools to enable scaled supplier engagement.
- Contribute to internal and external reporting and communications on program progress.
- Represent Meta externally, as needed.
- Capacity to travel (5%)

- Undergraduate degree in business, supply chains, engineering, and/or sustainability focused degree
- 6+ years of experience in fields related to procurement and/or corporate sustainability
- Experience in developing value chain emissions reduction strategy for large corporations, greenhouse gas accounting and evaluation of carbon reduction opportunities
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g. Sustainability, Procurement Teams, Business teams, Engineering) and managing relationships with complex stakeholders
- Experience diplomatically resolving issues through understanding conflicting inputs, achieving alignment, and proposing go-forward solutions
- Experience with industry reporting frameworks, such as Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
- Demonstrated analytical skills, technical and critical thinking experience, with experience communicating wide-ranging messaging to technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated project management skills with experience managing complex delivery in a highly productive, matrixed environment
- Understanding of supplier engagement and sourcing practices, and a demonstrated track record of integrating net zero requirements into the business
- Experience in sustainability consulting and leading engagements with corporate clients
- Experience setting and implementing corporate emissions reductions goals aligned with leading industry standards such as with the Science-Based Target Initiative (SBTi).
- Master's degree in related field, strongly preferred

$152,000/year to $221,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
