Manager, Strategic Partner Initiatives

Meta is seeking a Manager, Strategic Programs to support Facebook's zero-to-1 partnership initiatives. This person will operate as the "quarterback" helping to set up, support and help execute complex, cross-organization partner initiatives with high leadership visibility spanning multiple product areas and teams.This person will have experience driving strategic initiatives through proactive operational and thought leadership in a cross-functional environment, someone who is strategic, can drive results and stay focused on high-impact projects.

Manager, Strategic Partner Initiatives Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Program Management: Own development, organization and execution of large, complex projects, with little to no oversight, from inception to operational execution. Partner with leadership and teams to operationalize goals, maintain accurate priorities, and ensure accountability. Manage, frame and simplify complex business problems in terms of people and process. Help coordinate and drive program management across different business development teams, and cross-functional teams
  • Problem Solving: Identify and analyze complex business problems, and develop novel, creative solutions. Develop recommendations with a clear, substantiated point-of-view on a plan of record, then develop and execute strategy to align goals, processes and plans. Exhibit a solutions-oriented approach to issues, driving to timely resolutions
  • Communications: Effectively frame and communicate complex information to leadership and wide-ranging teams. Drive key leadership meetings and effectively communicate strategic recommendations and updates to leadership and stakeholders. Manage ongoing communication within and between teams and their business leaders
  • Collaboration & Influence: Collaborate and drive consensus and decision making across all levels, locations, and cross-functional partners (product, engineering, strategic response, legal, policy, communications, marketing)
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a time-sensitive, ambiguous environment. With an attention to detail, deliver high-quality work on time in a highly organized and structured manner
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in business and technology including knowledge of current/potential Meta partners
Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, strategy, consulting or equivalent experience in managing large scale business operations
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects, working effectively with internal and external partners at all levels to build consensus, drive efficient decision making and move projects forward
  • Experience analyzing and solving complex and varied business problems, and driving projects from strategy to execution
  • Experience defining and simplifying complex concepts and communicating them back to stakeholders
  • Experience with clear and concise executive communications
  • Experience leading and influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Experience balancing between high-level strategy and diving into execution
  • Experience building a variety of internal and external relationships based on trust and respect
  • Experience handling confidential information, with experience exercising discretion, poise and professionalism at all times
  • Experience managing shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control
  • Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Master's Degree, with prior background in consulting/business strategy
  • 5+ years experience in the tech industry executing and operating on strategic initiatives
  • Experience defining, developing and driving large programs in a deadline-focused, rapidly changing environment
  • Product sense, including an understanding of Facebook's strategic and competitive position
  • Experience working with product and cross-functional stakeholder leadership to build consensus, drive efficient decision making and move projects forward

$159,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
