The mission of our Sales Strategic Planning and Operations (SSPO) function is to drive Product and Business connection through cross-channel sales strategy, planning and operations. Meta is seeking an experienced manager to lead our cross-channel sales efforts on Business Messaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales operations professionals and driving strategic planning and operations across Meta's enterprise go-to-market teams. This leader will partner closely with the leadership team of Business Messaging, including product, sales, partnerships, marketing, and finance.
Manager, Sales Strategic Planning & Operations Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a team of sales operations professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to help them achieve their goals and develop their careers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, data science, and product, to drive strategic planning and operations across Business Messaging
- Develop and implement cross-channel sales processes, tools, and systems that enable sales and partnerships teams to operate efficiently and effectively
- Analyze data and provide insights to leadership on go-to-market performance, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes that increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop strategic plans to ensure that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently

- 12+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, strategic planning, business operations, or a related field
- 4+ years people management, influencing and coaching skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
- Evidenced success with communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Demonstrated experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and drive
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
- Demonstrated experience working in an enterprise go-to-market business context
- Knowledge of the technology industry and its trends
- Experience with sales force tools, automation, and CRM systems
- Experience working with cross-functional teams across different geographies and time zones

$182,000/year to $252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
