Meta is seeking an experienced Logistics Automation and Safety Lead to focus on Data Center Field and Warehouse operations. This person will be responsible for supporting the Site Logistics Operational Leads to develop and implement consistent robotics processes and assist in the enforcement of robotics best practices across third party logistics teams at their assigned data center. This position requires communication skills, collaboration, prioritization skills, a natural orientation to process analysis and optimization, the understanding of logistics processes and systems, and experience with robotics operations in a logistics environment.
Logistics Automation and Safety Lead Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a team of third party safety personnel at multiple data centers across North America to ensure operations are conducted properly and safely.
- Proactively and continuously monitor robotics incidents to identify gaps and create remediation plans as needed.
- Serve as subject matter expert with federal and state safety regulations such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and lead efforts to update or implement process changes as necessary to remain in compliance with regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive programs and procedures for all robotics systems used in logistics operations
- Plan and coordinate with third party logistics provider leadership at the assigned data center to ensure robotics all requirements are met or exceeded. Work closely with third party safety reps to develop robotics best practices.
- Develop, refine, and maintain robotics documentation that captures and distributes the processes and policies for executing safe and effective logistics operations within Meta data centers and warehouses.
- Identify gaps and risks in robotics operations and present solutions to standardize robotics operations across Meta data centers and warehouses.
- Build and support cross-functional relationships with internal partners to drive effective communication channels supporting safe and effective robotics operations. .
- Help produce monthly robotics audits to ensure sites are following established best practices.
- Enable and support IBOS (Infrastructure Business Operations Support) leaders to understand robotics requirements, implement new processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements around robotics in the logistics spaces.
- Identify and implement robotics improvements and best practices across data center and warehouse locations.
- Work with field leads, vendors and contract labor to develop and execute action plans in the implementation of these new processes.
- Monitor robotics metrics highlighting performance and trends within the data center field and warehouse operations.

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business management and/or any other business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years logistics experience managing a safety program.
- Experience working independently, prioritizing, and managing one's time.
- Experience with ERP, TMS, CMS, WMS systems - Oracle, Excel or any other analytics tools.
- Communication, problem solving, and interpersonal experience.
- Experience in a data center environment.
- Experience in business analysis/program management.
- Experience handling project management responsibilities (prioritization, planning, scheduling, status reporting).
- Experience in cross-functional projects across multiple teams.
- Knowledge in Supply Chain process from Procure-to-Pay.
- Knowledge with Supply Chain and Inventory management models.
