We are seeking a Leaves, Accommodations & Oversight to join the International People Service Delivery team. In this role, you will provide quality support and case management services to employees, Managers and key stakeholders. You will work closely with our HRBP, ERBP, BALT, Benefits, Life@ Meta and Payroll teams to ensure seamless leave management and oversight support.
Leaves, Accommodations & Oversight Specialist Responsibilities:
- International Leaves:
- Experience in handling Leaves across International regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
- Oversight of the International leaves process and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Supporting HR Technology related projects within the Leaves space for example process documentation, notification creation and process design
- Provide guidance and support to cross functional partners, employees and managers on leave-related matters, including but not limited to:
- Company leave policies and procedures
- Employee eligibility and entitlements
- Leave request and approval processes
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless integration of leaves management with other HR processes, such as payroll, benefits, and employee relations
- Analyze leave data and trends, adding commentary to weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reporting for PSD (People Service Delivery) management
- Location specific mediation and return to work requirements, act as key point of contact and communicator between business, HR partners and OH vendors
- Manage case resolution, quality of responses and responsiveness of vendors
- Escalation support and management
- Owns review and updates within case knowledge base tool
- Where required, trains vendor on new processes in partnership with other Leaves specialists
- Reasonable work adjustments (Accommodations) :
- Support return to work of employees across International, act as liaison between business, legal and HR partners, and outsourced LOA (Leave of Absence) vendors
- Provide support to employee and internal stakeholder inquiries around the reasonable accommodations processes, policy, and issues
- Oversee complex and escalated matters while performing end-to-end case management through implementation, tracking of accommodation transitions, and follow-up within the accommodations tracking related tool
- Produce and analyze reports and metrics, including ad hoc reports concerning accommodation trends
- Handle private and sensitive data in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
- Oversight:
- Responsible for service governance and monitoring, day-to-day supplier oversight, escalations management, service health and process improvement across one or more large functional areas
- Simplify existing processes and tools through automation and enhancement of our operations to be more efficient, while keeping employee experience as the utmost priority
- Collaborate cross-functionally across People Service Delivery and People@ Meta stakeholders to solve HR operations challenges, while navigating various levels of sensitivity, complexity and ambiguity across a Global team

- Experience communicating decisions effectively and recognize legal risk associated with certain disability issues while prioritizing caseloads
- Proven communications skills and experience in handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy
- Experience with attention to detail, accuracy and experience in maintaining confidentiality
- Experience exercising consistent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine the appropriate action
- Proven success in judgment and discretion in supporting complex and private employee matters
- Experience in HR generalist, employee relations or business partner role
- Demonstrated experience in communicating complex concepts to different audiences across an organization
- Experience building relationships and influencing others while working cross-functionally
- Demonstrated experience of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions
