The Global Response Operations (GRO) organization within Global Operations responds to highly sensitive and urgent events and issues. We focus on the detection, critical response, and intelligence capabilities needed to identify, prioritize, and mitigate the most critical issues for Meta's community of users, businesses, creators, partners and specialized stakeholders. Intelligence Managers on the GRO Intelligence team are responsible for driving the understanding of issues that impact Meta's community and partnering with various stakeholders across the company to help resolve them. This is usually done by analyzing data including sensitive information or graphic content and providing recommendations to various stakeholders using compelling narratives based that demonstrate ability to trying new approaches, balancing risk and impact. Intelligence Managers are also responsible for synthesizing insights from across GRO into a unified assessment(connecting them with other trends discovered elsewhere in the company if needed) and then representing that unified GRO to cross-functional partners. The focus of the role is to help Meta discover and analyze gaps that could manifest within Meta's family of products in an effort to make Meta and its users more secure through risk mitigations.This role may require candidates to work weekends or after hours during selected high priority events.

Intelligence Manager, Global Response Operations Responsibilities:
- Identifying issues, potential risks and providing recommendations on their priority, mitigation solutions and strategies
- Running analysis based on data and information collected from available sources and partners
- Building and delivering compelling narratives based on observed trends for key partners and executives
- Collaborating with wide range of stakeholders(product, policy, operations, engineering etc). including in regulatory, compliance and paid spaces
- Critical thinking ability to enable piecing together of different data points
- 6+ years of experience conducting Trust and Safety and/or Integrity investigations, intelligence analyses, User Experience Research analysis, or similar functions
- Multidisciplinary investigative and analytical background e.g. Experience with pattern, network and behavioral analysis, or root cause analysis methodologies
- Experience in storytelling through compiling, drafting and presenting analytical reports that clearly and succinctly summarize findings to executive or technical audience
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python or other data analytics programming languages
- Effective communication
